The Great Room

I love the huge windows in this great room, but I'm not sure how you get into that triangle kitchen (maybe there is a trap door).

What makes a living area liveable? Ask 20 people and we might get 20 answers. But, in our opinion, one essential is NOT to isolate family or guests by having separate areas for cooking, dining and ‘living’.

Enter the great room. It isn’t about size. It’s about function, however, great rooms seem large because they typically combine – what would otherwise be, relative small areas. A great room, combining kitchen, dining and living, allows the family and guests to interact in a relaxed way. No walls, no barriers, no doors.
