Multi-Function Seat

When you consider chairs for something other than their function, you find that the designs behind their making, and the reasons we enjoy them, encompass vast and varied concepts. In this case, you might want to have a multi-function seat.

Sure, a chair is something you sit on. But it is the very simplicity of their purpose that makes designing a desirable chair so difficult.

This designer multi-function seat can be several other kinds of furniture for you, depending on your needs. And what’s more to like about this elegant piece of furniture is that anyone can DIY it now! It’s also great for small spaces since it can serve multiple functions.

This multi-function seat can transform into a bench, an armchair, a two-seater, a seat with a side table, or a display table in just seconds! With its versatile design and comfortable seating, this is the perfect piece of furniture for any home.

It is neatly designed with lines seeming like an art piece in a room. This seat has many functions, but its primary purpose is to save space. By optimizing the space available, this seat can maximize its usefulness and make your life much easier.

This seat may appear complicated, but it is surprisingly very simple to build. This designer furniture is made with high-quality materials and construction, making it a great investment for your home.

You just have to be a little more patient in building your multi-function seat as it involves quite a bit of shaping and cutting of plywood sheets. It’s important to make sure all the cuts are precise in order to create a sturdy chair that will last for years.

It’s worth taking the time to do it right the first time! If you rush through things, you’ll make mistakes. And taking shortcuts will only lead to more problems down the road.

It also requires some time to sand the edges and make sure everything is smooth before you can start assembly.

For this particular project will require two templates – one for the side support and the other for the L-shape that will make up the whole chair. It will also require two pipes – one will enable the pieces to rotate and the other will provide support or locking.

You will need at least 45 pieces of the L-shape template, or you can create more to satisfy the desired length of your multifunction seat. Depending on the desired size of your seat, you may need up to 60 pieces of the L-shape template.

To create the desired width for your multi-function seat detachable parts, you will need to glue together multiple L-shaped pieces. 4 to 5 pieces should be a good width. After creating two side supports and as many L-shape supports as you desire, you can now start assembling your multi-function seat.

Once you’re done, you will end up with a sturdy, 120 kg piece of furniture you will always enjoy!
