A Traditional One
Traditional swings are made with wood, metal, and rubber. They are lightweight and with wooden slats and metal arm rests are relatively cheap and easy to assemble. These materials are usually tied into a rope or a chain. Easy and simple as it is but as enjoyable as other expensive swings available.
These are usually built on trees or on a platform and are usually built outdoors for kids and kids at heart to enjoy!

In an Arbor
An arbor is a structure designed to shelter or shelter off, a tree. The type of arbor to be used varies according to the species of tree being grown, the style of the garden, and the style of the house.
Having an arbor swing in your backyard is an excellent way to entertain friends and family, indulge in some quiet time or simply watch the world go by. This is a relaxing place to spend time and enjoy nature and the great outdoors.
Some people prefer the peace and quiet, while others get the thrill of swinging down and back up on the arch of a tree. For kids, These are the ultimate playground, combining the fun of swinging and the joy of climbing.
The only drawbacks to these are that you need a big space for them and that (in many cases) you need to remove them after winter. But, if you don’t mind the hassle and lack of shade, these are a great way to keep kids happy.
On the Porch
The importance of a porch in every home is real. The porch is the best place to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. A porch is a place to gather with friends and family, to enjoy the sunset and to sit outside and read a book and relax. A porch is the home’s focal point.
And building a swing in your porch is a great idea of building comforts in that particular are of the house. The outside of a porch swing is can be made up of the frame, which is the structure that supports the seat, back or both.
It could also be made of wood or aluminum, and is secured to the porch by an additional support structure. The seat, back and sometimes the seat back cushions are typically made of some type of fabric.
You can even add covers to the frames suh as a web-like tension fabric.
