Aquinnah MA USA – Hutker Architects
This is a very nice example of a home that works with it’s environment rather than competing with it. Situated in a town of just 311 people on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, the home stands in stark contrast to many of the seaside mansions common in the area.
The simple shingle exterior, massive areas of glass and simple elegance internally lend an exceptionally peaceful ambience to the project.
We could easily spend a lifetime there. Could you?
