Portobello Road  London  –  AB Rogers Design and DA.Studio

Year built:     2010 / 2011
Built area:     316m2  (3,396 sq. ft.)

Portobello Road may be famous, but it’s also very busy. This amazing home was designed and built to create a magical escape from the external world. The house is pure art and purer fun from entry to rooftop. It’s proof that we should never grow up!

A magical family home on Portobello Road

Every corner of this home surprises with another unique and magical discovery. The focal point for every level is the rainbow coloured spiral staircase while amazing painted timber floors greet you at every landing.

The master bed rotates 360 degrees so that you can change your view while a trap door in the floor pops open to reveal a slide that takes you down to the living room below, where a huge sofa awaits you in the 12 x 8 metre soft piazza designed for playing, sleeping and living.

The home was recently offered for sale for £4 million. We don’t know if it sold but it is no available for long term lease for a mere £3,500 per week. Call us if you want the agent’s details!
