Dover Massachusetts USA – Archia Homes

Both the kitchen and the overall project have won multiple awards. The Kitchen
“A renovation in a historic home transformed a kitchen from ineffective to beautiful and functional for a large family. Stunning views through the 10-foot sliding panel window bring the outdoors in to enlarge the space. A hammered zinc range hood and island top are the centrepieces while the reclaimed oak flooring and wooden countertops bring warmth to the whole room. Refrigerators hidden behind magnetic chalkboard panels keep the sight lines clean and a separate yet connected, eating area make this kitchen functional and comfortable for breakfast with the children or dinner with the neighbors.”
The Home:
“A post and beam carriage house just outside Boston adds picturesque living spaces to a classic New England home. Reclaimed materials and antique fixtures throughout bring a historic charm that surrounds you with warmth. The second floor provides a cozy retreat for the children while the multi-level first floor works equally well for a large party or reading on the sofa. Bring the outdoors in with the six panel sliding doors or curl up next to the wood stove and stare out at the snow covered fields.”
