Fire Hot Tub

Hot tub anyone? Just fill this tub with cold water from your garden hose and light a fire in the pit!No, it’s not a cauldron 🙂 It’s a cleverly designed hot tub that’s energy-efficient – it doesn’t have to be plugged in or connected to any drain.

If a modern person were to talk about the pleasures of a hot bath, they would be speaking of it as a luxury. For the Romans, it was a daily necessity.

It was a part of the Roman bathing routine and was commonly done three times a day. It was also a social activity. The Romans used the baths for much more than just cleaning. The main room in the baths was called the tepidarium.

It was a room that was warm, but not hot. The women and men would bathe in this room. It was where the bather would go after exercising to relax the body and get the circulation going again. The bathers would usually carry on conversations, read or play games while in the tepidarium.

Taking a hot bath is a time-tested remedy for a lot of physical and emotional issues. A bath is used to unwind and relax after a long day at work; soothe aching muscles; cure depression; lessen the effects of a hangover, and ease the symptoms of a cold or flu.

You can have a hot bath with natural hot springs or if you don’t have access to it, you can buy a man-made hot tub.

Natural hot springs are a type of hot spring that is created when the groundwater has a very high temperature caused by being heated either by magma or geothermal energy.

Natural Hot Springs are geothermal pools of hot mineral-infused water that are safe for bathing. (Hot springs are NOT the same as the man-made tubs in some hotels. Geothermal Hot Springs are different from the Hot Tubs you find in hotels which are heated by electric coils. Natural Hot Springs are heated by the earth.)

There are more than 2,000 natural hot springs in the United States, most of them in the western part of the country. The most famous hot spring bathhouse is the one in Yellowstone National Park, but there are private bathhouses as well. Many people enjoy soaking in hot springs with their friends and families.

While there are lucky people to have access to natural hot springs where they can enjoy their hot baths, there are also unlucky ones. And if you’re one of the many people who can’t enjoy the natural beauty of hot springs, you can still enjoy hot baths by purchasing a hot tub.

A gas line or propane tank is not required when using a fire hot tub, as you simply use firewood and a fireproofing agent to heat the water.
