The house facade, of course! Even<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>strangers simply passing by\u00a0can see it. This is why designing and decorating it is just as important as any part of your home&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5106\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/House-Number-1.jpg\" alt=\"House Number\" width=\"800\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I think it\u2019s safe to say that one of the usually overlooked detail in our facade is the house numbers. After all their sole purpose is to tell visitors that it is or is\u00a0not the house they are looking for. But after coming across this project, I realized that this simple sign mounted on our facade can create a good impression.<\/p>\n<p>This project is very simple and easy yet brilliant. It is creative and\u00a0also a more secure sign that would survive a typhoon. (My old house number was destroyed by a strong one two years ago.)<\/p>\n<p>Do you think it\u2019s time to replace yours too? Here\u2019s what you will need:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Screws \u2013 stainless steel\/exterior<\/li>\n<li>Printed House Number<\/li>\n<li>Tape \u2013 for holding number template in place<\/li>\n<li>Nails \u2013 for marking where screws will go<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tools<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hammer<\/li>\n<li>Screwdriver \u2013 handheld is fine, but a power driver makes the work easier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5107\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/House-Number-2.jpg\" alt=\"House Number\" width=\"800\" height=\"484\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Choose your font. Use a software such as Photoshop to overlay a grid over the numbers. The intersecting points in the grid is where your screws will go, so the size of squares should depend on the size of the head of your screws.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5108\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/House-Number-3.jpg\" alt=\"House Number\" width=\"800\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve printed your numbers, position the paper on your surface. Make sure they are \u00a0straight and nicely laid out before hammering the nails (you can also use one of the screws like in the photo). The goal for this step is to just mark where you will drill\u00a0the screws.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5109\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/House-Number-4.jpg\" alt=\"House Number\" width=\"800\" height=\"426\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After you have made marks for the numbers, carefully drill the screws.
