When you don\u2019t have to stop to find the tape measure or the screw that fell of the ground? An all-in-one handy tool is the perfect idea.\u00a0It makes the job faster and less tiring.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, there hasn\u2019t been any tool invention yet that would change form when you try to command &#8216;screw driver!&#8217; or &#8216;tape measure!&#8217; But we have found a pretty close idea. This really comes in handy especially when working on quick and easy projects!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5480\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/Ultimate-Hammer-Main-Image.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This hammer also serves as a nail holder, a screw driver, a measuring tool for making rough estimates, and a bottle opener for when the job is done! Want to turn your old hammer into the Ultimate Hammer? Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Old Hammer<\/li>\n<li>Tape Measure<\/li>\n<li>Epoxy<\/li>\n<li>Masking Tape<\/li>\n<li>Sharpie<\/li>\n<li>Strong Magnet<\/li>\n<li>Nail \u2013 with a large head<\/li>\n<li>Magnetic Bit Holder<\/li>\n<li>Clear Varnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tools:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hack Saw<\/li>\n<li>Drill<\/li>\n<li>Paint Brush<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5468\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer02.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Start off with the bottle opener. Drill a hole that is of the same size as the nail that you have, in roughly the same position as shown in the photo below. Drill about halfway through the hammer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5469\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer03.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Insert the nail into the whole to determine the depth.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5470\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer04.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Add 3\/8\u2033 to your measurement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5471\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer05.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is how you\u2019ll want the nail to look like \u2013 with the head sticking out at about 3\/8\u2033. Use epoxy to put it in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5472\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer06.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next \u2013 the magnetic bit holder. It is basically a tube that has magnet on one end and the bit you insert into the drill at the other. Cut about 1\/4\u2033 below the magnet using a hacksaw and keep the one with the bit .<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5473\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer07.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Drill a hole at the bottom of the hammer about 1\/4\u2033 more shallow than the bit holder. Use a drill bit that has roughly the same diameter as the bit holder you are about to attach. Make sure the hole is at the center.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5475\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer12.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Insert the bit holder. Put another strip of masking tape along the handle, between the first two strips as your guide to marking the half inches.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5479\" src=\"http:\/\/project.theownerbuildernetwork.co\/files\/2017\/03\/UltimateHammer01.jpg\" alt=\"Ultimate Hammer\" width=\"800\" height=\"666\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Coat the handle with clear varnish to protect the lines.
