<video:title><![CDATA[How to Make a ● TIRE SWING ● That's Safe and Easy to Make !]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[This is one of the safest and easiest tire swings to make for your kids. Super cheap to make and saves you money. Other tire swings are made with chains, metal, steel hooks and brackets and all of those things can hurt your kids. They can pinch fingers, chip teeth (after all that money on braces) and some parts can loosen, fall apart and cause injury. On this tire swing, there is no steel parts exposed to harm your kids fingers, legs and especially their teeth. It's an all rope (almost) tire swing design. It's very strong, and will give your kids years of fun and play. This tire swing holds 3 kids and can take many years of fun and abuse.

● ROPE .... Visit a mountain equipment climbing store or Arborist store. It's worth the extra money to get good strong rope that's UV protected.

● TIRE .... Go to any car dealership or tire store and pick a good tire from their scrap tire heap for a few bucks or for free.

● PARENTS .... Everything wears down and will eventually fail after many years in the sun and elements outside. This design is way better than other tire swing designs but be vigilant as a parent to always check that your tire swing is in good working order and is safe to play on. Inspect your playground equipment on a regular or annual basis. Be smart, be safe.]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[I built my kids an indoor climbing wall, it was super fun to make!

TOOLS & SUPPLIES (affiliate links):

https://kit.co/iliketomakestuff/climbing-wall
https://kit.co/iliketomakestuff/shop-safety-gear

In our old house I built a huge climbing wall in our backyard. With the renovation of the boys' bedroom almost completed, I thought it was a perfect time to rebuild that fun rock wall in the their room.

First, here is a safety disclaimer...I built this wall for my kids in a manner that I am completely confident in. I don't know your room layout and I don't know your kids abilities. If you want to build a wall yourself, awesome! But you are assuming all responsibility and risk in doing so (that said, it is pretty awesome and you should go make one).

I began this project by measuring out the space in the room and making a digital copy of it (Its been very helpful for me lately), being sure to accurately measure the ceiling pitch. I then mapped out the placement of some drop-in, 2x4 walls that would support the 3/4 inch plywood faces. I cut and nailed the wall pieces together and screwed them to the existing room studs with some massive lag screws. I translated the ceiling pitch to the angled wall section and used a bird's mouth cut at the end of the 2x4 so that those joists would sit on the header of the wall below it.

Once the walls were framed in place, I broke down the sheets of 3/4 inch plywood to cover each section. I made sure to mark out the location of the new wall studs on the plywood so that I could secure them together, but it also helped me identify where to NOT place the holes for the climbing holds. On the plywood, I marked out a geometric grid that would become the locations for a bunch of T-nuts. These pronged nuts will receive the bolts that attach the climbing holds to the wall. The grid allows you to change up the arrangement later if you wanted. After drilling the grid holes and hammering in the T-nuts, we mounted each plywood face to the framed]]></video:description>

<video:title><![CDATA[DIY Garden Bench Project - Pallet and Cable Reel Furniture]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[How to make a simple garden bench out of a empty cable reel and a couple of pallets for your garden. A cheap and simple pallet furniture project involving basic workshop tools that most of you have got. Under $1 Ive costed this at, basically 10 screws, everything else was upcycled and reclaimed. A fine use of a pallet, much better than firewood for the wqodburner or stove ;)

Facebook pallet picture album page here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.731568860305470.1073741843.663214073807616&type=3

I used the welder to make bolts from the existing threaded rods that held the cable drum together but you could just as easily buy or recycle long coach bolts. Routing the washers and nuts into the sides though is a nice touch.

I used a variety of tools, started off with a cheap jigsaw, this cut the pallets ok but died on the second one and would have no chance of cutting the thick slighty damp cable drum ends. The evolution rage 7 was a good purchase and chewed its way through them. For more info on evolution power tools visit here, seem really good value for the money - http://www.evolutionpowertools.com/exploretherange/

Makita angle grinders, the router and the cordless drill all came into use. Great work horses although i killed my makita jigsaw and belt sander. The belt sander is the biggest loss, a very versatile tool but very expensive to replace, i need to drop it off at Townsends to see if it can be repaired but i think the motors goosed.

A Mcallister drill i think with a half inch or more auger bit, corded drills are good when it comes to drilling large and deep holes.

The Electra Beckum radial arm mitre saw is a tool that is becoming cheaper and a must have workshop item for anyone whos manufacturing. The slot i cut to hold the bracket is snug, perfectly square and that joint can be adapted to so many other projects and add stability where its used.

A cheap belt sander from Argos, it might be a Challenge brand, 40 grit b]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[Up cycling an old wooden pallet using woodworking skills create to a mobile cart or all terrain camera trolley from repurposed or reclaimed wood takes less than an hour with the proper approach. This version will support up to 600 pounds and has a near perfect straight path. There are several upgrades to this cart including a double wheeled version that rides along a wooden rail for smooth camera flow over rough terrain. This is also a great shop tool that allow you to load items and haul off. Because the profile is that of a pallet, an additional pallet can simple be set on top of the attached pallet allowing for easy removal of the loaded pallet with a forklift or manually. <video:description><![CDATA[How to Make an Automatic Chicken Waterer with Nipple Drippers
Made up a chicken waterer for the girls cage over the past few days. This one is 25L/6½ gal in size & should last the 4 of them for at least a week if not longer I think.
A closed in waterer like this will also help to keep the water cleaner. It was a constant battle with the girls scratching dirt into their old feeder making it necessary to clean it every second day.
This waterer definitely took some of the "AWWW DAAAD" out of the daily chicken choirs.

The drill I used was an 8.5mm. 8.8mm or 11/32 are the suggested sizes for the tap size..
The tap used was a 1/8th BSP

**UPDATE**
This system has now been modified to include another watering station & has been connected to a large reservoir.. A bit of a look at the set up now can be found here
