Growing Tomatoes in Containers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gardening experts recommend that you plant tomatoes in pots that are at least 20 inches across the top and 24 inches deep. You\u2019ll need a spot that receives at least six hours of sun for your container tomatoes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small\ntomato plants set out in pots at the beginning of the summer will grow quickly\nand produce abundant fruit. At the end of the growing season, you should remove\nspent the plants from the pots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to reuse the containers over the following season, you\u2019ll need to start with fresh soil. Discard any remaining soil and then wash and scrub any remaining soil from the pots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
